2012 ArtNight Showcase
ARTNIGHT 2012: Luminous Passage November 13, 2012
The event celebrates the creativity of communities and helps build the confidence and self-esteem of many young budding artists in particular.
Luminous Passage inspired by Delaunay and commemorates the Mayan end date; to celebrate a new cycle – shedding the darkness and transition into the light. A luminous passage that we will travel together to illuminate our world; making it a little brighter and a little more colorful place for all.

More than 300 guests and artists converged on SpringHill Suites Convention Center for the 2nd Annual ArtNight SpringHill Suites Las Vegas themed Luminous Passage, which was held on Tuesday night, November 13, 2012, to enjoy the arts and entertainment – all organized by ThinkArt! - Think & Wonder, Inc.
“Luminous Passage is unique in that it’s truly an art and cultural event with a significant initiative – to introduce residents and visitors to the local artists and students, as well as to celebrate the creativity of communities and to build alliances, confidence, and self-esteem of many budding artists, young and old.” said Dinh Creative Director of ThinkArt!. “We were successful on both these fronts.”
According to Dinh, Luminous Passage is a result of SpringHill Suites by Marriott Art Initiative that provided ThinkArt! with an opportunity to collaborate with local artists and students, invest in the health of the community, as well as pave the way for more art initiatives and partnerships.
Many local artists also took part in the Chupa Chups Lollipop Art Challenge leading up to the Tuesday, November 13th evening of the arts reception event. Chupa Chups Art Challenge was coordinated by ThinkArt! and was sponsored by Chupa Chups USA, as well as with support from SpringHill Suites Convention Center.
ArtNight SpringHill Suites Luminous Passage and the Chupa Chups Challenge was indeed the pinnacle of Las Vegas art event -- showcasing many local student talents alongside leading artists from around the community.
The art reception's broad spectrum of works pitches to a wide range of appetites, from the classical, to the avant-garde, to the electrifying. Discussions are underway regarding dates for the 2013 event, which will soon be posted.
