If you are interested in working on this project and willing to commit, we would love to work with you.
The public service announcement (PSA) will offer you not only new skill sets and provide valuable studio experience, but may offer opportunity to meet other professionals and start the networking process within a tight-knit industry.
With the participation in our PSA project, you will develop the drawing, storyboarding, and overall project management skils. You will have a hand in creating the character, give feedback on an early draft of a script, or control the lighting in a crucial scene, and more. You will work alongside established story artists, visual development planners, and directors. The PSA Project fall into category of film making.
If you are interested in funneling your art background into a production environment, you should have a grasp on acting and conveying emotion, texture and weight, and traditional art principles. Since PSA project is so hands-on, you are also in the position to make leaps in techniques and skillset; plus have the chance to develop an impressive portfolio for future roles.
The typical PSA project takes about 2-3 months to develop, this will be an ongoing participation. Schedule are flexible to accommodate schedule and outside responsibility. We seek artists (of all levels) who are ready to meet the professional world – those who have serious interested in the filmmaking process.
The program is open. That is, you may choose to work only on storyboard or character development, or production. Or if you are ambitious, you may choose to do it all. It is dependent on the desire, skillsets, and of course, time available.
