Know the Rules

Show Period: Art shows & exhibitions are on a quarterly basis: January - March, April - June, June - September, and October - December.  Reception Event is held on the first Tuesday of each show period, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm.

Submission Guidelines

  • Nevada Residents ONLY - art shows & exhibitions are open to all Nevada state residents.  All ages are welcome.
  • Work ​For­mats - All works must be your own original work.
  • Permission - Artist give permission to ​ThinkArt! to publish and showcase the works for the ben­e­fit of the show/program.
  • Right of Refusal - ThinkArt! - Think & Wonder, Inc has right of refusal regardless if the works have been juried/selected.

Submission Guidelines

VISUAL ARTS
All art forms are accept­able (Illustrations, Graphic Novel, Pho­tog­ra­phy, Oils, Water­color, etc.)
  1. All works must be sub­mit­ted in dig­i­tal for­mat to ensure the artist retains pos­ses­sion of the orig­i­nal until the selection has been deter­mined.
  2. When the selection has been announced, the artist must for­feit the orig­i­nal art­work to the ThinkArt! Board so that it may be exhibited for the ben­e­fit of the show/program.
Size/Dimension and Weight
  1. All art forms are accepted and must be your own original work.
  2. Art works (if 2-dimensional) must be ready to hang and ready for display/showcase.  Mounting Guidelines.
  3. Minimum size requirements (including frame) is 16 x 20 inches;
  4. Works may not exceed 30 lbs.  If the works does not meet the size and weight requirement, ThinkArt! - Think & Wonder, Inc has right of refusal regardless if the works have been juried.
  5. Sculptural works, if stand/pedestal is required, artist is to provide.​
WRITTEN WORKS
All works must not be published.
  1. 25 lines maximum (25 lines NOT pages)
  2. All writing samples must be written in English
  3. Use a 11- or 12-point standard serif font (for example, Times, Palatino, or Cambria)
  4. Be in either PDF format OR Microsoft Word documents (other formats will not be accepted)
  5. Have no identifying information. Please ensure that your document attachment does not contain your name: no name on a cover page, no name in the header/footer, no scanned copies of published work with your name visible. (Autobiographical works that may reference your name in the body of the submission are acceptable.)
  6. Our application asks for a title for each submitted piece. Please do not use your name in the title.
